Twitter Video Analyzer: Analyze X/Twitter Videos Fast And Free

Analyze videos from Twitter (X) posts to extract resolution variants, detect embedded GIFs vs. native video uploads, and pull tweet engagement data. Twitter serves video through its own adaptive streaming with multiple quality tiers (360p to 1080p). Memories.ai parses Twitter's media API to show you every available variant, helping journalists, researchers, and social media managers audit content without needing Twitter Blue or API access.

Step 1: Copy the tweet URL
Step 1: Copy the tweet URL
Click the share button on any tweet containing a video, then select "Copy Link". Both twitter.com and x.com URLs work. Quote tweets with embedded videos are also supported.

Step 2: Media type detection
We detect whether the media is a native video upload, a GIF (Twitter converts GIFs to silent MP4 loops), or an embedded external player (YouTube, Twitch clips, etc.). For native videos, all quality variants (360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p) are parsed from Twitter's adaptive stream.
Step 3: Tweet context & engagement data

See retweet count, quote tweets, likes, bookmarks, and reply count alongside the video metadata. Full tweet text, mentioned accounts, and hashtags are extracted for context.
Step 4: AI analysis of video content
Step 4: AI analysis of video content
Ask: "What is this clip about?", "Transcribe the speech", or "Is this a news clip or user-generated content?". Useful for fact-checking workflows, news monitoring, and social listening.

FAQ

  • Can I analyze videos from both twitter.com and x.com URLs?

Yes — both domains point to the same content. Paste either format and the analyzer handles the redirect automatically.

  • How does the analyzer handle Twitter GIFs?

Twitter converts uploaded GIFs into silent MP4 video loops. We detect this automatically and flag the media as a GIF-to-MP4 conversion with no audio track, so you know it's not a native video.

  • Can I see all quality options for a Twitter video?

Yes. Twitter serves videos via adaptive streaming in 360p, 480p, 720p, and 1080p. We display all available variants with bitrate and estimated file size.

  • Does it work with videos in Twitter threads?

Yes — paste the URL of the specific tweet containing the video. If the video is in a thread, we analyze that specific tweet's media.

  • Do I need a Twitter/X account or API key?

No — the analyzer works with publicly accessible tweets. No Twitter account, X Premium subscription, or API credentials are required.

  • Can I analyze Twitter Spaces or audio content?

Currently, the analyzer focuses on video and GIF content in tweets. Twitter Spaces (live audio) are not supported at this time.
